A VR experience for the public: understanding the structure and function of the kidney

Individual project - the final dissertation for the MSc Medical Visualisation and human anatomy at Glasgow School of Art and University of Glasgow

Kidney Exploration is a VR experience designed to educate the public about the structure and function of the kidneys. This VR program builds upon a CT dataset to extract a kidney's model with its internal structure and create an immersive experience that gives access to the interior cavity of the body and learning about the organ. Integrating interactivity and immersive visualisation of diabetic kidney disease can allow for more active learning and increased user engagement.

This project was conducted in association with The Glasgow School of Art and The University of Glasgow.

Match the bone: Web-based game - Learn about the Bones

Collaborative project - Collaboration with humayra Bakar(humayrabakar@yahoo.com)

Match the bone is an interactive educational application developed as part of my Master's coursework. It is based on the theme of matching bones to find a person and allows the audience to act as detectives searching for clues, learning about the bones in the upper left arm of human beings in the process. The game has been partially developed.
